Mouse Cave Minigame

This mini-game is played entirely with the mouse. 

Your character follows your cursor, and you must navigate through levels to reach the end. Collect gold along the way, and try to beat your high scores!

There are six levels that unlock as you progress through the game.

This game was developed mostly* throughout one month as my submission for the Minigame-A-Month jam! The idea is one that I've had for a while, and this was a good opportunity to prototype it.

I have a lot of ideas for more mechanics and gimmicks to expand on this. But of course, in the nature of a game jam/prototype, this only includes the core basics.

*A lot of the art assets were taken from previous projects and releases that I've made: You might recognize some tiles and sprites from Jubilee!

Note: The plan was to release a web version of this, but the html5 version was a bit broken when I exported it, and there's not really much time to change it before the jam deadline. I'll revisit this possibility in the future, but for now it's a classic downloadable exe.
