A downloadable asset pack
This expansion pack is designed to bring your Time Fantasy world into the future! The FUTURE FANTASY collection is based around two themes that integrate together: the modern city and the sci-fi world of tomorrow.
This set includes 25+ new tilesets: everything you need to make a futuristic space station, complete with computer terminals and science equipment. A machine factory with moving conveyor belts, or a damp junkyard with concrete pipes and rusted cars, are perfect locations for dungeons. And of course a future setting isn't complete without a dark cyberpunk city. A more modern city is included too, with roads, highways, and modern-style houses for a suburban town. Modern interiors, with kitchen appliances, TVs, computer desks and more.
The collection includes over 50 character sprites, ranging from sci fi soldiers and mechanics to scientists and cyborgs to city police and urban punks. Four new hero characters have fully-animated side-view battlers!

Not specifically, though some of the white-armored futuristic military guys could work, depending on what the game needs.

There is no forward sword slash (when you see his back), and shooting is only to the sides.

Hi, great work. I bought this set on Komodo Plaza and I must have missed the part where the topdown animation is not 4 directions. Further complicating things, I see now that the license is limited to RPG Maker. If that's not enough, I have since removed Windows from my laptop because it was getting on my last nerve, in favor of Linux. So then, does Elements have these characters and will it run on Linux? If not, should I repurchase this set, and try redrawing the sprites with your guide, or do you have plans of updating this one in the future? And do you have any 8-directional models?
I decided to repurchase this set, so there's no license issue with RPG Maker. And it looks like the Elements character generator won't work with Linux, even if it has these characters. I'll try my best to add the missing directions, but I'd rather see an update if at all possible. I doubt I can create it as well as you could, but at least I have your base drawings to work with. All that said, it's a small price to pay to support your efforts, since the first time I bought this set, it was on sale.

Great tilesets and sprites! I recently purchased this set and am enjoying this aesthetic. I'm making a cute Cyberpunk Zelda game atm. If you ever make some robot enemies, you've already got a customer in me.

Hi! I'm newbie in this stuff, but it seems that when I slice (in unity) few of these tiles in 16x16 grids, there is only 4 different tiles (corner pieces) and thus cannot be used for building example bigger buildings or water pools.
Yeah, that's because of the RPGMaker format, sounds like you're using those ones.
There should be a master sheet that includes all the tiles-- that will have the ones that you need.

The master sheet is missing the tiles from future_tileA4.png (all the building walls).

2. No credit is necessary. As long as it's not attributed to someone else, you don't need to include me at all. (as Don Draper famously said on Mad Men: that's what the money is for 😅)
Hey in your floor patterns there are some sheets with tiles all jammed together. Do you have any specs you might be able to give me to make it easier to cut up? So I don't have to do it by hand and try to size it to my grid
Everything should be arranged in a regular 16x16 grid.
If you're talking about the special RPGMaker-formatted autotiles, they're arranged as 8x8 half-tiles. My friend fmoo made a tool that will 'unpack' them into a more standard format: https://fmoo.itch.io/autotile-packing-tools

I am building a toop-down shooter using Game Maker Studio 2. I need the weapons to be separate from the charcter sprite. Are your weapons separated from the characters?
This set doesn't include weapons. They're more designed for use in JRPGs, but could be modified.

Hi, I am thinking about buying some of your beautiful tile sets (or the bundle), but you appear to be mostly targeting RPGMaker. I am using Godot and need to understand how to get the best out of the A1, A2, A5 tilesets in the context of Godot. Can you help with that? Are there parts of your download that I will wish to ignore completely? Thx,. :)
I haven't used Godot so I don't know if it requires any specific formats, but my tiles packs will usually also include a regular master tileset for general use in any engine, in addition to the RPGMaker formats. Thanks
Does the Future Fantasy collection fit with, broadly speaking, the Modern City set? I want some more futuristic interiors for some buildings and this seems ideal but I can't quite tell whether it'll stand out too much.

Sorry, when I said Modern City, I meant your Omega Modern tileset.
Omega Modern is the same size, so it would be semi-compatible. The color is a different style though. Most objects from Omega Modern would fit fine if you edit the colors to match.
This set is really awesome! I'd love to see more "Future Fantasy" themed packs for sale by you, especially more sci-fi characters, such as "Star Trek"-ish jumpsuit-wearing starship crew, space marines, or spacesuit-wearing astronauts or miners (think The Expanse, Alien, 2001, etc.).
Alternately or additionally, I would buy a "Post-Apocalypse Fantasy" (whether Mad Max or The Road in style) or even a "Dystopian Fantasy" (Logan's Run or 1984) pack in a heartbeat!

I already owned most of the Time Fantasy sets thanks to your previous bundle, and really love the style, but I wanted something sci-fi and/or modern day... just bought this and it's awesome! However, I was quite disappointed to see that there is no "bathroom stuff" at all in this set; there are always going to be bits and pieces someone wants that isn't included, but a toilet, bath, shower (and maybe washer/dryer) are essential to a modern-day set IMO since you won't ever find those in fantasy tilesets. Any chance of these important objects ever being added to Future Fantasy (or as part of another TF pack), since I know you update your tilesets from time to time?

Hey I loved the style of your Time Fantasy series but was interested in working on a sci fi game. I immediately pulled the trigger on this as soon as I saw it! The style is awesome and thanks for putting this out. I was wondering if you you plan to extend this pack to cover more environmental or character assets?

Hi, I've bought quite a few sets, because I love your work. If I create a web based game, can I use them in the game? I ask because sometimes with web games it's possible for folks to try to download and rip the assets, so I want to make sure it's ok to use these in a web-based game?
